I know I'm gonna have fun with this one. The thumbnail to the left was my take of your lesson "Photoshop: Make a vintage, JAZZ RECORD ALBUM COVER." The photo was my father in Japan in 1956. He was a jazz aficionado. He passed in 2007. I made a framed poster and gave it to my mom for Valentines Day. She said it was the greatest gift she ever got. Thank you for your tutorials they are awesome.

When he doubled clicked the smart object, it opened a new file with only the text group...upon using the transform tool on the text, only one text layer appeared afterward...what happened?
@BLTV_Photoshop
@BLTV_Photoshop 10 жыл бұрын
The smart object doesn't add the additional effects until you close its file. Once the smart object file is closed, the additional effects will appear on the other document with the updated text.

Blue Lightning TV Hi. I'm about to start making an opening sequence to a halloween video and want to know how to get the motion effect you have in this video. As a still your work is great, but it is frustrating that you don't show how to get the motion. Would it be possible to explain that? I don't understand what "My screen capture program added the effect" means. Many thanks and keep up the good work as these are VERY good videos that you produce.
@BLTV_Photoshop
@BLTV_Photoshop 10 жыл бұрын
LindyLoon The motion effect cannot be achieved in Photoshop. I add the effect simply to enhance the experience of watching my videos. I use a screen capture program (Camtasia Studio) to record my screen, edit the video, add audio and apply transitions. The motion effect you refer to is a transition effect of Camtasia Studio. If you want to learn about motion effects, After Effects is the program.
