+Michael Douglas Press Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows or Cmd + Option + G on a Mac. Another way is to go to Layer > Create Clipping Mask.

Hmmm, I tried this a couple of times. I wrote down instructions and worked along side the tutorial; but could not get same results. Maybe its because I am using the 2020 version of the program, or maybe my images are not similar contrast. I will try again with other images.

Blue Lightning TV does this not work well with black backgrounds and darker skin people? i tried to do one with mike tyson and it didnt turn out well. it just looked inverted looking.

Romeo Valenciano I just tried it on dark skin and the effect looks great! Either your foreground and background colors weren't inverted as I instructed or the "Invert" adjustment layer wasn't used.
