Photoshop Tutorials - Create Streak Paint Text Effects in Adobe Photoshop

Hey guys! In this adobe photoshop tutorial, I am showing you how to create an awesome paint streak text effects AKA "smudging script".
With this technique, you can create very cool typography effects,
you need is a colorful background and knowing how to use the pen tool, final effects depends on the background you use and the brush size, I would recommend you spend a lot more time perfecting each stroke before moving on to the next one. Also, experiment with more handwritten fonts. This tutorial can be used for anything, such as an abstract wallpaper, or just cool paintbrush lettering.

Please I need tips, I've spent 2 hours, cannot figure out.... I'm noob in photoshop 1. is it possible to make 100% transparent brush (Star effect) - for some reason it doesn't work for me, it makes it only partially transparent... i show in video attached 2. how to change one color the quickest way within image if I have two color, for example I want only to change red (I have red & black) to yellow? i show in video attached kzbin.info/www/bejne/iobGaZJndpZ_jtk thanks a lot

1. As I understood you need to use a brush tool with less opacity, you can add a new layer above the text then add stars using the brush tool then you can lower the opacity from the opacity slider in the layer panel. 2. use the quick selection tool and click on the color you want to change to make a selection then use the bucket tool to fill with a new color.

You used a specific brush type. Is it a downloaded brush or something you made?
