Hi :) Keep in mind you don't have to use this font for the tutorial, it will work using any font you want. If you want to use this specific font here is my affiliate link to purchase it: www.myfonts.com/fonts/mika-melvas/belinda/?refby=Mighty If you do purchase the font, I will get a small percentage of the sale so thank you for supporting out the channel! 😊 Cheers!

I've been through MANY tutorials on youtube. NEVER have I ever been able to GO along with some at the same time. You are moving slowly but not so slow that its tiring. and U speak clearly... u give instructions for EVERYTHING u don't assume someone knows something even though they might. So i learn new ways of doing things I already do. waw. i will be looking at all your tutorials as time goes along. U inspire me to get back into doing more tuts.

Solid content and technique dude. Two things that may be helpful. 1. I would add shadows and highlights to give it a bit of depth with the brush tool or maybe fiddle with a displacement map or two. 2. You can increase the number of history steps in preferences > performance. The maximum steps are 1000 but be mindful of how much memory this will hog and your computer's performance capabilities before you crank it to the top setting.
@MadebyMighty7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback man it's truly appreciated! :) I think adding some shadows and highlights is a great idea. If you try it out make sure to share it because I would love to see the result! And for the history steps, that's super useful to know! I'm trying to figure out a way to correct this in the video since KZbin is about to take away annotations. I might pin a comment explaining this to let everyone know. Thanks again for the tips man, cheers!

Here's a nice lil shortcut for masking layers! VVVV Get a letter > Get a picture you want to put inside the letter > Drag the picture layer above the letter layer > Hover your mouse over the separating line between the 2 layers > Hold Alt and left click on the separating line. Hope this helped!

@MadebyMighty7 жыл бұрын
That's awesome, I'm also learning how to edit on KZbin tutorials :) It's pretty mind blowing to have access to all this free information and resources! As for Gimp, unfortunately I have never worked with it so I don't know if it offers the same kind of possibilities. I realize that quite a few people would like to create this effect using Gimp so I was thinking of either finding an experienced user to work on some tutorials for the channel or collaborating with a Gimp KZbin channel but I'm still not sure how to go about it. I will keep everyone posted on channel updates as soon as I figure it out. Thank you for your comment, cheers!
