Other people have demonstrated this, and while I got it, you provided more by showing how to use curves and specialty brushes to create an even bigger effect. Thanks! well done.

2nd time I'm watching this. I use it in most of my landscapes and it gives them a painterly effect. I watched it again for the addition of color.. Thanks as always for sharing your expertise. Barry

Thanks for the tutorial! Was great to learn about colours in the curves-now I can apply it to a skin tone to achieve warm and kind of orange skin.

Another great tutorial Colin. You mentioned "Drone". Does your drone support "RAW"? If so which model drone do you prefer to use? If not then what development treatment do you give drone JPegs before doing this kind of editing?
@photoshopcafe4 жыл бұрын
Mavic 2 Pro, yes it does raw.

Interesting lesson . Have you ever tried Luminar? This program much easier to use to obtain these results. I have an older version of Luminar and I understand that newer versions are even better. it can be used as a stand alone or a plugin for PS.

I have the current version of Photoshop CC but my Hue/Sat layer will not link to the Light layer with ALT key held down. I cannot find any way to link it to the Light layer we created. (added a solution) I did find another way by right clicking and choosing "create clipping mask" on it is seems to give same icons as you have now.

why is it you dont use flow instead of opacity? The photoshop "masters" never use opacity while painting. I have followed their lead and have only adjusted flow while painting. I think adjusting opacity is akin to training wheels. Am i missing something?

All new to me, but I am not sure I have the patience to use it!
