RuBP is ribulose bisphosphate. It is a pentose sugar containing 5 carbons. RuBisCO is a short form of an enzyme called ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase oxygenase. Its function is to add either oxygen (oxygenase activity) or carbon dioxide (carboxylase activity) to RuBP. So RuBisCO is an enzyme for which RuBP is the substrate.

Mam in reduction process 2atp and 2nadph is used because of 2molecules of 6 carbon each containing 3 carbons, then in regeneration process also there are 2 molecules of 6 carbon each molecule containing 3 carbon then ,so,there are 2 molecules eight then why only 1 ATP is used ?
