Phrasing to me is not so much about note choice, but more about the spacing between notes and runs. Just like when you're talking, you have sentences. Some of them can be short, some long, and often you might put an accent on the last word for emphasis, or drag a note or bend out, or leave a space, things like that. Also about the mix of fast and slower passages. ?? Matt's playing there was an excellent illustration of that I thought. And yeah, a very powerful tone he had.

Man, I love your tone as well as the way you break down what seems so simple, but what really makes for a good player. Blessings and all the best to you!!!

Just found your channel and subbed ‼️ your correct about developing your ear , so many people run to the tabs to learn songs. Back in my day I wore out so many cassette decks , showing my age 😂

Recently found your channel and have watched a few videos, I’m digging it. I started guitar lessons again about a month ago after finding a better teacher and I’m learning the A Minor pentatonic scale. Any chances of doing some licks in that scale sometime? Keep up the good work brother, I’ll stay tuned.
