The coconut water taste depends on a lot of things. U guys probably didn't get lucky. But u can only know if the taste is good when u drink it, it's impossible to know before, so sometimes people get bad taste coconut water. I live in Brazil and love to drink coconut water! Specially in summer, because it's very hydrating and if u get a good coconut water it'll be very sweet and cold... There's is some coconut water in boxes, just like juice, I don't know if it is sold in Korea, but I don't like it, it's not the same taste. Please don't give up on real coconut water! hehe love u guys!

Young coconut is so much sweeter! You should've ate the coconut skin too! Maybe you guys didn't get lucky but please if you ever visit another tropical country where coconut exists, hope you give it a try again! I'm from the Philippines and coconut or buko is one of the refreshing drinks ever.

You should have ordered young coconut, they are sweeter. The younger they are the water is sweeter but the mature it gets the sweetness seeps in the coconut skin. You should have eaten the skin of you coconut, it would have been sweet ;)

Actually the younger coconut water is less sweet than the older one but the pulp is soft and sweeter If you want to drink just a water you should get an older coconut

as a person who has drank coconut water a whole bunch of times and lives in a tropical country I've gotta say, it isn't the best thing in the world, it has a weird dirt taste to it (kind of) but it's suuuper good for hydration!!!!

omg i'm so late but okay. yas once again, please don't give up at coconut water. in my country (Indonesia) there is a flavored coconut water(yas true). ya'll can mix it with any kind of syrup and almond milk, it taste like heaven seriously. and you can also mix it with brown sugar, it also taste like heaven. but whatever i love ya'll. i'm sorry i'm not a native english speaker.
