@@tf-ok Art is considered something that deviates from pop/mainstream media. Though Phum has gained popularity over the years, I still don’t consider him a mainstream artist like Troy Sivan or Justin Bieber. Plus, being an “indie-ish” artist allows Phum to play a strong role in the song making process. I believe he still writes his lyrics from the ground up, this song in particular was inspired by a Thai film Monrak Transistor. I’d also like to remind you he is a bloody good guitarist so yea he’s the mastermind behind the instrumentals (including band mates ). This is already very different if you’re used to listening to pop music, where SINGERS often have an entire production team that write the lyrics and chord progressions. Therefore I’d consider him an ARTist, not just a singer.

I havnt heard the whole song yet, but it just awoke an old memory in my head. Every year we'd have a huge fare 2x a year. Once in spring and the other in autumn. Honestly it would be the same things every year but cuz it only happened 2x a year it still felt special. I'd go with my parents until even they got fed up with it so from 6th grade they allowed me to go on my own with a friend who lived close by. It was a totally different experience, it made me feel free, we were broke middle schoolers so we didn't buy anything, we even sneak into the evnt. After COVID the whole fare closed permanently. I havnt been in my town for 4yrs now either. I hope that fare comes back one day and my friends and i can go back again and see the annual familiar sights.
