The only thing that gets me bent in this game is when the mechanics don't work as intended. Like falling off the side randomly, bad merm spawns, black screens, etc. Learning to expect those things helped me chill out in this game a lot more. Felt like my brain was running at 200% because I didn't understand some of the mechanics. Knowledge is power, and Phuzzy shares it freely. Great stuff!

Those apologies are always so fake and insincere. They're apologizing only to try and stay out of trouble. I never reward fake apologies from my kids and I wouldn't reward them in your case either. Stream sniping IS CHEATING. The end. The bigger problem (with no solution in this generation) is that so many people are ok with cheating. There exists an entire community that thinks the ends justify the means. As long as they win, anything they do - including sniping, hacking, and using exploits - is ok. It's as problem that can only be fixed by teaching the next generation of players (who are little kids now) about good sportsmanship and integrity. Those guys were 100% the cheaters that cause everybody to hate arena. He did EXACTLY what some streamers and KZbinrs actually advocate for arena tactics - one person on the ship spawn killing while the other crew shoot the upper deck (he was shooting YOU and not targeting sinking shots). Plus he had a legendary seadog title. Those tactics are the afk'ers go-to for farming points in arena. Everything about those players in this video point to being cheaters. I hope you DID report them.

These guys were the image of toxicity. Blatant cheating, exploits, and they think it's a well-deserved victory with stuff like spamming the 'rolls on deck laughing' thing. They ruin so much of the game - they spoiled Arena and led in no small part directly to its discontinuation, they mess with the server matchmaking by hopping, which fills slots on multiple servers and doesn't let them be filled most of the time, and they only apologize to avoid repercussions. The thing is, every time someone like this is banned, often they'll just come back with a new account, grind back to their levels again (and ruin peoples' experience in the process, quite often times driving players from the game entirely), and just do it again. To deal with the problem we need to get to the people, one way or another. Attrition works - after enough bans they might take the hint or get tired of dealing with it. Approaching them with how it's wrong is another matter, them having been raised on this sort of thing makes it hard to change. The issue is that they look at the 'low risk high reward' style of cheating, and consider this part of that. That mindset works in some places and I'd say there are times when it's the best, but they completely lack sportsmanship and honor. I hope, though I do not expect, that the next generations are better with this. Unfortunately some content creators like these will also continue to try to spread their toxic ways, which is what needs to be combatted as well.

Being attacked and using a variety of tactics some consider toxic (island camping, running into the Shroud, hiding on others' ships, camping stronghold and FotD kegs, etc) has never been and won't be against any game rules. However, it's still a game, most people are still playing this for fun and entertainment. Cheating, being toxic, and similar things are against that and ruin the experience. It's not supposed to be and never will be an authentic or even close to authentic recreation of a pirate's life, magic and mechanic limitations aside. It's a game with a pirate theme. That is not an excuse to lower yourself to such standards.

Go after the streamer if you consider yourself good and if you win you can watch the stream later to see your battle from an other point of view. And the fact that stream snipers are considered cheat by rare might give you a hint. Also these murdering thieves have a code. Most people tend to forget it.

I got to see most of this in person and the combats were absolutely insane. I didn't get to see Phuzzy get sunk, I was damn sure they would never get him. Watching this video, when the sniper apologized and all Phuzzy did was say 'all good man' I realized he is 100x a better person and player than I am. Because I would've shot him in the face and torched their ship. Reporting them seems like the just thing to do, not because they sunk you or took your loot but because they shamelessly admitted to sniping . Also, the repeated spawn camping was too toxic. I love these videos a lot, but I believe some might be confused about a comment made in the first couple minutes of the video: Brigs are indeed fast compared to the other 2 vessels, but really only in acceleration. The galleon is fastest once it gets up to top speed, but it takes longer than the other ships to both speed up and slow down. Hope this is helpful to anyone! Again love the vids and Phuzzy wasn’t wrong (he said, “Brigantines are fast, which is why they’re a go-to choice for server hoppers”), I just felt like some extra explaining might help people.

I respect you as a player/streamer, because when you want to pvp you make sure you have something to lose too. I was watching a video from another content creator who was complaining that ships (stacked with loot) were sailing away from his (which had nothing), after the other ship's people had boarded him and saw he had nothing. He complained that they just ran to sell their stuff and wouldn't fight him... as if he is entitled to have everyone play the same way as him (pvp focused) and as if it wasn't the best strategic option for the other team to not bother with a situation where they only stand to lose. Anyways, I just resect you as a person too. You seem like a genuine, good dude. Keep it up.

As a big fan of the PvP in this game, Rare have to change the ship respawn mechanic, In my opinion after second sink the ship that sunk should get servers switched, this way ship that lost their loot will get a chance to retrieve it, and Reapers won't have to waste their supplies or possibly sink after the fifth time the same ship came back.

Nah server change is wack. It just needs to spawn you further away and you should be able to salvage some supplies when you sink ships that dont have storage crates.

Falcores idea of your ship being damaged more the more times you sink, so if you sink your mast will be down, wheel broken and anchor broken with less supplies when you respawn because it is the players fault they sunk so its punishable. If you had to face those options as an outcome. It would be a waste of time going back over and over again. Then they could maybe add summits idea for if they did go back, if you sink 3x you're out. Server merge them.

Plus I wanna add onto it by saying that how much of a bad person do you have to be to say "I've been a fan of yours since I got the game" but then proceed to infringe the code of conduct by stream sniping your favorite content creator for some loot instead of just being a good sport and participating like a proper pirate. 0 honor in that guy's heart. Hope he learned his lesson. Also is it just me or is every player I encounter a bad mannered player? I engage in voice chat saying GG and good shot and stuff, when I win I don't say anything to not angry people, and when I lose I congratulate people and laugh. It's part of the game after all. Yet all I get in return are sword lunges and swearing. To the very few pirates I've come across that have been good sports whether as enemies or allies: "I raise my cup to ye".

What ever buttons are mapped, you use the shovel/bucket, then double press whatever button to put away, on Xbox it's b, I think it's x on pc not sure, then use again. It will put away then re-equip whichever item. Can help bucket faster and dig faster

mate i need to say the concept of if you sink me with the loot its yours and at the end of the stream its my loot is a cool concept it makes the stream way more entertaining and its also fun for the poeple who sink you cause they get great reqards for a hard fought battle keep up the great work men!

P.S.: How did you keep so calm when you just wanted to see who on the server (if anyone) would manage to earn your loot fair and square, but a bunch of cheaters showed up and ruined everything. Hope you reported them, but at least you got some sweet content out of it and maybe knew players watching this video will understand how cheating ruins the game for everyone and learn the right way to play. Omg Phuzzy! Looks like u are having some troubles. So let me help you what u can do in situations like this. Be aware that these are just suggestions and u are free to take them or leave them: I know you likes to play with pistol and sword major, but u have to learn to play with the other weapons as they have other advantajes as well. For example: at 17:45 a sniper or blunder would be very useful as you can easily slow their cannons down with sniper and easily kill in close range with blunderbuss. Second: ngl that I think that you need some improvements with sword. For example, if u move side and get behind while someone is blocking you can easily take him down. I saw that you sliced 3 times while he was blocking and therefore u didnt deal dmg. You can also use jumps to avoid shots and know your movement. Also, frog leap can be used to get close to your target and not only to dodge shots. For a more advanced trick, use 360 turn in the middle of slices or frog leaps if u want. Third: in a situation where your ship is constantly being turned and they are shooting with their cannons with their anchor down, you can easily deal some dmg with your cannons as well. Yes it is risky though as they can kill you with their cannons, but on a situation like yours, everything is risky. I also noticed that u kept bailing and watching for boarders, but also try on cannons or sniping also. There are a lot of stuff that I didnt tell u bc they are all exploits and u dont like to use them.

Good point, sword Spamming shows no skill, yeah phuzzy is decent at cannons but think of mixelplx he's able to eliminate players so quickly with using sword so I think you should double gun it brings so many advantages

@@PRMR6 I like double gun, but u have to have a decent aim to use it properly and my aim is not too much precise. But I dont sword spam. I also use frog leap, block and x cancel.
