He's actually ~Chall level on most jungle champs. You don't climb that high on the ladder without a strong overall understanding of the jungle. It's just that his Yi is a cut above everything else.

Was Chall back when I played ranked, but that was many years ago. I haven't grinded the ladder since S7. I did actually start a smurf a couple weeks ago, though, since I wanted to make sure I didn't get too bad from inactivity. It's in GM at the moment; hopefully I can push it to Chall soon once I unrust a bit more.

My champion pool is all over the place, from Eve, Ekko, Graves, Kayn, etc. Do you think I should play simpler champions even though I don't personally like them? there is no point to that,move on and go next,you can't carry 3 losing lane unless ennemy team hard throw,he's challenger playing vs challenger hard to win with 2 losing lanes let alone 3

I'm taking some time off making videos to grind solo queue for a bit. It's been 6-7 years since I last played ranked, and now that I'm making videos explaining how high Challenger junglers think, rather than just jungle clear videos, I think it's disingenuous for me to remain a casual unranked player. I'll resume the videos after I get back to Challenger and confirm I'm still a competent jungler. I'm up into GM so far, so hopefully it won't take much longer.

yi not being good in high elo is so old news, the changes they made a few months ago completely removed all counterplay from his kit so now it doesnt matter how sound the minds of his opponents are. i cant believe they still havnt reverted any of it, the meditate and q landing changes are mindblowingly stupid.

Why are we giving opinions on what to do in-game with the rank 1 EUW player? If he is rank 1 Jungler that literally means his decision making is far better than 99.9999999999% of players. I normally enjoy your content and I understand you're trying to educate lower ELO players this way but this REALLY turns off higher ELO players from your content. I truly believe that when reviewing a RANK 1 player one must stand from a position of selflessness. Even the best players make tons of mistakes. If you watch Sinerias's stream, he's self-reflecting on dumb things he does all the time. Noone is good enough to be idolized to the point where you should just assume every move they make is perfect. I'll analyze someone's gameplay objectively and comment on what I think is good and what I think could be done better regardless of their level of play, because I think open reflection and consideration of possibilities is the best way to improve as a jungler. I've spoken with multiple rank 1 junglers and LCS/LEC junglers, and at times even been hired to help them - I can assure you that even these top tier players get plenty of things wrong. I don't share the same reverence you have for the rank - they're just humans too.
