Very aware of the human condition. Very under rated. One of a kind. Inherently funny. Intelligent. Very private. A first in stand up comedy that wasn't dirty mouth. The first woman stand up comic. Let us hope she receives the credit she richly deserves someday. We the public knew she was the best.

Phyllis Diller was the best comic out their in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid she had a good run all through the later years was incredibly the funniest.

Loved Phyllis Diller---she would have you laughing and while still laughing she would give another one-liner and you'd laugh on top of the other laugh...she was the master of fast jokes! You barely had time to breathe between laughs...better not be drinking or you'll spit your drink out laughing!

Phyllis lived across the street from OJ Simpson, and during the trial my now ex-wife and I would sit and have Tea and Randy donuts with Phyllis sitting on the lawn in lawn chairs. What a wonderful human. God doesn't make them like her anymore.

Looks like a last minute panic to hide her neck. Very odd. I used to adore her as a kid but I recently saw a video of her home and the tacky back and white kitchen floor reminded me of the group she must've belonged to.

She just said that her life private now y she not so outlandish. But, people still expect her to have a degree of comedic relief y her scarf is it at her age.

Political correctness is out the window as her book screams it y as a Jew with comedic talent I like to say it the way it is y stay away from negative jerks. You don't have to necessarily overthink comedy, it's just a joke.
