They have since improved the bracelet on the rail master. It now has articulating female End Links and the Bracelet is not stiff at all. Phylida has improved this model since the version in this video

beautiful watch. unfortunately lug to lug is over what it would suit on my wrist. if it was a 38mm watch with max lug to lug 47mm i would go for it

I'm totally with you on some watches looking better with sterile dials. It's good to know you can get a good fit on a 7" wrist. That was the only thing that stopped me getting one of these. You never know if you'll get a good fit with a butterfly clasp. I might have to pick one up now 😉 I've been saying it since I first tried out a Phylida watch, the (GMT Master 2 homage). The build quality and value for money is fantastic. Great review mate.

Great review! Two questions: 1. Is the nice brushed texture of the dial more visible in the sunlight? 2. Is there a position that you can change the date that is behind the dial? Can you feel or hear that the date changes? This problem can be found in Corgeut "Railmaster".

It is more visible in daylight, and the date wheel is not audible unless you really try to hear it!

Not a fan of sterile dials generally but this one seems to get away with it, maybe it's the cross hairs distracting me or the slightly flieger overtones but it works.

I just got this one yesterday, only issue I got is I cannot fully hand wind with the threaded crown. It will always screw in no free position to hand wind.

Is fully brushed the same as sandblasted? there's a big difference between these two kind of finishes and they don't have a sandblasted one listed at all at Aliexpress, was this a unicorn? Your link just sends to a fully brushed one that to me eye doesn't look sandblasted in the pictures compared to the level of real sandblasting on your vid... Any help, anyone???

Hi, they did do this in sand/bead blasted finish, then did a 2021 update with an all brushed finish instead.

It is not sandblasted. The blasting media is glass beads. Also it is not an expensive method.

The dial face's texture is nowhere near as pronounced or accurate looking, at least in this video, as the Omega, or the Corgeut homage, and that's the best part of the design. Am I the only one seeing that, or do I need an eye appointment?
