I could be wrong but if the frogs were to eat a venomous spider would the frogs be able to break that protein down and create the right alkaloids to then become a true poison dart frog? of does it have to be from certain types of insects that feed on poison plants?

I go with your first comment - I hate spiders, or rather, I'm terrified of them (and no, they are NOT more scared of me than I am of them!) so anything that eats them is fine by me. My old cat used to protect me, my current two are useless and one is more likely to bring big ones in and drop them at my feet. OMG! I don't know about Phyllobates terribilis, I'd rename them wonderfulis.

Make sure you don't feed your frogs any spider species which can get too big. If they get away it can turn into a big problem. I remember reading on a forum post from a guy who turned his lights on and saw a giant spider eating one of his frogs. Gross.

it all depends on the ventilation the tank, and also the ambient humidity in the room that the tank is in

Awwww, I’m sorry, like I said in the video... I don’t hate spiders, nor do I even really dislike them.... but the ones that hang around my tank.... well I feel differently towards them, especially the false widows... A good friend of mine have a pretty bad infestation of them, and they killed many thousands of dollars worth of frogs....So he claims.
