I worked as a cart pusher at a Walmart in Arizona during the summer. When I was hired I was told water would be provided. They started with a water cooler, but the store manager decided to replace it with those disposable water jugs with a nozzle dispenser. Then after about a week of that the store literally ran out of those jugs so my boss said that we should just use the drinking fountain until they can restock. About a week into that the drinking fountain located by the bathroom between the front bathrooms broke down. The only other water fountain was in the back by electronics, so now if I wanted water I’d have to walk all the way to the back of the store. I forgot my wallet so I couldn’t buy my own bottle, but I had fifty cents left in my pocket from lunch that day at school. It was like 95 degrees out and I decided to buy myself a twenty five cent sprite from the machine so I wouldn’t have to run all the way to the back. Right as I cracked open the can my store manager walks out and tells me to throw it away or I’m fired. Told that bitch to go fuck herself and quit on the spot. I didn’t need that job so wasn’t about to take that from someone who was essentially trying to kill me with heat stroke for Walmart’s bottom line.

Walmart management tried to write me up not completing my work while I had a collapsed from a heart condition while stocking shelves and had to be rushed to the emergency room. They had an employee vomiting all over the freight in the truck and allowed him to continue working to the point of complaining about how fast he threw the truck. Another time I was the only non management employee stocking on the general merchandise side of the store and I was given a write up for helping customers instead of stocking then threaten with a write up for not helping customers enough by a different manager for the same instance. It's the norm that every employee of cap 2 gets a daily threating of losing their job at the beginning of the shift then hourly as a based fear motivation. It's the worse job I have ever had which says a lot because McDonald's used me as a human wet floor sign during an inspection and Tyson Foods tried to hide a dead coworkers/friend from us so we would pick up the slack.

I worked at a Walmart during the busy season just as summer was starting. I was assembling bikes and keeping the bike rack full. One day I had just filled the rack and went to lunch. When I returned almost every bike on the lower racks were all laying in the floor. Of course I had to pick them up and re-rack them. My manager andI watch the video to see what happened. We saw an old grandma on an scooter circling around the rack with four grand kids ages probably between 8 & 12 taking out the bikes and riding them for a few seconds before dumping them on the floor. Then she motions for them to come on and rides away on her scooter.

I agree!! I think right now he might be a little bummed out but you know he is too committed to speaking out to give up. He does stand up for a lot of people. It can sometimes make all the difference to know that you are not alone in the madness. So, I think we don’t need to jump into anything big right now. However, if they do try to go after him all we would need to do is set up a Go Fund Me page. He has a lot of fans so I truly believe we could raise enough for him to hire a great attorney (or an army of great attorneys) in no time at all. It is so important that voices like his are heard. I also think it might be a good idea to pick one day out of the week that we agree to send him only positive messages. I’m thinking maybe something completely goofy like “Wonderful Wednesday” or “Sappy Sweet Saturday”. I know those are goofy but maybe another follower could think up something better. I just think it would be good for not only him but for all of us as well to have one day of silliness, goofiness or even just sweetness to look forward to.

The second Walmart that I worked at in the 11 years that I was with the company. We had a bike assembler who who had a really bad attitude and wasn't afraid to talk back to management which is why none of the managers ever did anything to him because they were afraid of him. finally, one of our new assistant managers stood up to him and finally decided to let him go because he started to not show up to work and plus he was being very rude and disrespectful not only to the customers but also to other associates and it couldn't be ignored anymore. when he was pulled into the office, he was originally working on building a bike out in the garden center and he was holding a flathead screwdriver in one hand. while he was walking to the office with the assistant manager, he continued holding the flat head screwdriver in anger and refused to let it go. he was surrounded by a total of four managers in the back office and when they told him he was fired, he immediately became angry and had to be restrained and luckily they were able to take the screwdriver out of his hands before he attempted to use it as a weapon. That store along with several other Walmarts have a history of hiring completely unhinged associates with anger issues and they don't care until it begins to affect them!!!! 😡😔

You want flowers and happiness? Back in the day Walmart used to have flowers that you could purchase at each exit. My job was to keep the flowers fresh, zero out the expired flowers, and handle all the specialty gifts for holidays like Mother’s Day. Holidays where are you might want flowers or teddy bears or chocolates. I started every morning by going to pull expired flowers. I always found weird things shoved in the display between the bouquets. But there were several weeks where every time and I would find a used, still soggy condom. Who stands at the front of the store in front of one of the main doors, with everyone walking in and out, pulls out their thing and gets off on some flowers? “Ah yeah those flowers smell good, real good!”

Ha-Ha! 2 cats under the hood. One morning I was getting ready for work. The wife hustled the kids out the door to drive them to school. I follow them to say a few things and as the kids are climbing in the mini-van my wife and I are talking, I hear a loud meowing coming from the vicinity of the minivan. She gets in and drives off. No meowing now. She comes back a few minutes later as I head out to get into my car. The meowing is back. Curious, I pop the minivan hood to see a very frightened cat hanging off the air cleaner! I guess there's just enough room above a Mazda5's air cleaner to curl up and take a nap.

Here are my two stories from Barnes and Noble from 1997-2002. We had one guy who would come in and follow teenage girls around and creep on them by standing close. He would then “rough up his suspect” and walk behind dad them until he finished. He always managed to get away before the cops could catch him. The other time involved closing duties. Men cleaned their bathrooms and ladies theirs. I went into the men’s room and in the handicapped stall was the largest turd on the floor. Not so much a turd as so much it was a single long poop coiled in a pile on the floor. It had a diameter of at least 2 inches and stood about 8 inches tall. I called another employee to help with its disposal and to see I wasn’t lying about its size. We got a big plastic dustpan and began to slide it under, when attempting liftoff the unthinkable happened...the handle broke off due to the weight. This thing must’ve weighed 8-10 pounds! We got many trash bags and finally got it off the floor and out of the store. To this day I can’t fathom how something like that came out of a single human being. With regards, Carpenter Fan, in honor of John Carpenter

I'm a former Wal-mart employee who lived in Tulsa (different wal-mart).. all I'll say is, when I heard "Admiral and Memorial"..I was already ready to hear some shit. I got two about that Wal-mart to tell (My friend is a very trustworthy and honest man- so I know this is true): My friend was a security guard for the Wal-mart at Admiral and Memorial. One night, he saw a drug deal happening in the wal-mart parking lot (it was 24 hours back then). He was told to ignore it- because last time someone got involved, they killed that person's entire family. Second story- my same friend one time saw a cop being ganged up on by a bunch of disgruntled customers, who were beating up on him. My friend came up with a flashlight and hit one of them in the ribs, breaking his ribs- eventually (with help from other people) fighting off the others and saving the cops life.

Yo Camelot331 I have a story to tell you. So I used to work in produce. My Walmart is pretty bad but I needed a job badly because I had no job. In produce what would happen only a daily basis: Not cleaning the areas where we keep produce Spuds and rotten tomatoes along with rotten everything with the fresh stuff for days Stuff out of date by weeks or months at a time (including meat.) Stuff that fell on the floor in the backroom we just put back out Moldy bread Cake designers wipe their hands on apron while wearing gloves and put them back on cake Rotten food sometimes stored for weeks alongside good fresh food Icing not frozen and whipped cream stored outside sometimes Frozen food sitting out for three hours and being re frozen One time I along with another worker had to clean up over 50 pounds of expired meat off the store sleeves, with customers. Maybe even more than that. It was a L cart full of them. And the guy handling meats just shrugged his shoulders. He also stolen things. And he hasn't been fired. But I was fired because of personal reasons that were not my own fault. To sum it up my new boss hated me because I wasn't buddy buddy with them and spoke up. The workers didn't care and their whole attitude was basically "I'm not a customer and they will buy it anyway." Oh and the first shift and second used to get into wars which involved who can fire who. And the boss for first shift used to sit in the office and do nothing. And yell at female employers if they speak out.

Crap ! It’s dinner time and I just got to the microwave story. Let me pause this for now and come back later. But first let me watch some old school stream to forget the 2 first stories and enjoy my delicious meal.

Person at my old store sucked and screwed her way into her promotion. Her parents showed up he got fired. Shes now a manager. Worst part was that she was cheating on a poor dude in a different department.

One of my coworkers went to another department and started on father's day. I could barely get any work done I was writing on so many cakes.

Hey CAMELOT I used to work at kings island witch is an amusement park. and I take a public transportation home at a scheduled pick up time. and they would always forced me to work overtime. and miss my transportation doing dishes. and to keep me there. And my assignment Manager would Threaten call security to keep me hostage so I don’t leave. another time there was this girl who was minor! and she dropped a spatula in the deep fryer! and had a brain fart. and she tried to retrieve it and didn’t think about puting on a greasy before.putting her hand in the deep fryer. and they just had the park EMTs look at her hand.and bandage it up in bandages and papertowels then sent her back to work. (sorry my typing is bad) and they are going to reopen this season even though it half way over. and they should stay closed this year. due to what’s going on right now. just google kings island reopening and you’ll see what I mean.

Please, for the love of God say they threw that microwave away. Please I'm begging you. Also I'd put it on 10-15 minutes then leave the state.
