I have totake the PAT but I am scared of the mile and a half run. I havent ran in YEARS.

I’d focus on running for a least a few months. My first academy taught me you better come in shape.

Same I passed the first two. But as soons as I started running I couldnt keep going.

It takes a while usually 5-6 months but it varies per department.

Bianco gets no participation trophy from me for his delayed response. This nonsense has been going on in commiefornia since AB109 in 2010 and all this tells me is hes been part of the problem up until now. How many people lives have been affected in the last 15 years while he sat by and played politics for his personal gain. He is a political surviver and is setting his sails to the direction of the political winds. He's just another clown in the leftist circus. The only thing he gets credit for is his political survival tap dancing.

@@michaelgronemeyer4007 Depends on you. Can be as fast as you go. There is a time limit of about 45 minutes total I believe.

You must Become a United States Citizen first before you can enforce our laws on our citizens. Especially if you are being granted the use of deadly weapons.

Those required minimums are a joke. The idea that standards haven't been lowered in police and fire positions is beyond a joke. The idea that agencies are hiring the best, most capable people has long since past. "Types" are what is being sought, at all costs.

Didn’t be fooled by that minimum number. Always try to double that double. The academy is much much worse, definitely come in SHAPE! 😅 when you are a heavy guy you will suffer for sure lol

It depends on the agency but Corrections usually don’t take physical tests as a requirement for pre employment. You guys need to pass the physical tests during your academy training after you have been hired.
