Be careful what you say. I once commented that I thought a nurse was too rough and boy did I get attacked. One person said that I shouldn’t have children because I didn’t like that the baby cried when the nurse handled her so roughly. It, as I finally said, was my opinion and everyone was entitled to have an opinion.

I miss doctors like this. I was born in 1963 and I had the same doctor from birth to 17 yrs of age. I remember him well. Dr. Irwin. He was so kind and gentle and truly cared about and for his patients. The doctor I have now is what I call a drive by doctor. He comes into the room for 5 minutes then leaves. My hubs doctors are like that and our doctors are in different states. I see the same doctor at every appt. My hubs sees different doctors all the time bc they come into this practice but they don't stay. Usually they last anywhere from a few months to a couple of yrs. How can your doctor get to know you well enough if you're seeing him for 6 months and then the next johnny come lately picks up where the former dr. left off.?? When we have a problem between our drs. and our pharmacy each one blames it on the other. The buck stops here attitude died long ago. It's too bad bc everyone deserves a dr. who cares. Wish I could find one but I think they've gone the way of the dinosaurs!

You're absolutely right. I don't know where you live, but I'm in Ohio, and it's the same situation here. These fly by night doctors are for the birds. My doc that I have been going to for many years now acts like he could care less. I can't find one that really cares for their patients, and it's a shame because we are the reason they live in big homes and drive their expensive cars. 😡

@@brendapooler6809 it's all because of the workload (amount of patient we have to see in very short time), it is not that we don't love our patient, but we are forced to see more and more patients. Quality of care is dying over the quantity.

These Stanford Medicine25 videos are excellent. Why can't Stanford Medical School make these greatly clinically informative videos a regularly recurring weekly/ biweekly occurrence rather than so infrequently. Stanford should lead in medical education in all arenas, including serious clinical online content. Stanford is not just a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering institution. It can and should lead in Medicine, and utilize the online medium as a spearhead.

Have you tried a natural supliment to soften the baby’s stool? Or does your baby have liquid stools with cramping or gas? Breastfed babies are able to digest the milk easily making it pass almost violently. Sometimes we forget that a breastfed baby may still need to be burped depending on how much air they swallow which could be made worse if the baby isn’t quite latching properly making for an almost desperate feed, swallowing more air. And if you keep track of the wet nappies and number of stools you can get a good indication of how much they are getting. This kind doctor was saying that preterm males are more common to have a hernia so you could ask your doctor about that.
Gyengéden vizsgált a doktor . Viszont érdekes , hogy amikor a pici nemi szervét megvizsgálta utána nem mosott kezet hanem ugyanazzal a kézzel tovább folytatta a vizsgálatot a többi testrészén többek között a szeménél is. Hol maradt a higénia ?!

Some of the oldest doctors are the best doctors. My girls are 20&22 and they’ve gone to the same doctor since they were born. She was older when they started going to her and both of them still love her. My 22 yr old aged out last year and she was devastated. She doesn’t think she will ever find an adult doctor like her pediatrician. Don’t dismiss doctors just because of their age. Most of them have wisdom and common sense beyond any young medical doctor these days.
