I went through a phase where I replaced my collection of DVDs with streaming media but recently I've started to go back to replacing my collection with physical because I miss my favourite part of collecting dvds the extras you get from the making of to commentary from directors and the actors themselves I really regret getting rid of so many of my dvds

@@patricklauer4452 Yeah. What's sucks that sometimes shows don't get blu-ray releases anymore. Netflix has some and so does (HBO) Max, but no Disney + originals have physical releases.

Oh, so you're going to UK for the spring! Don't know if you've ever been, but I've lived there back in 1995-96, studying English, and traveled all over Scotland and Wales, visiting dozens of their dilapidated stinky castles with a miniDV camcorder, buying something in every gift shop like a good little chump. 😂 Will be interesting to see you in HMV, Fopp and CEX!

Can confirm as a fellow Gen Z-er I also grew up with da talking sponge but I loved Phineas & Ferb (2nd dimension is a goated movie) definitely in my s-tier of Disney cartoons (along with gravity falls & Molly McGee)

Funny you mention getting some Frank Sinatra tapes. My mom was working as a secretary long ago. She told me she called in sick and went to a Frank Sinatra concert with some of her girlfriends. I love the Sponge Bob movies. Catching up on the TV shows. I miss screen savers. 😜 I had one once where a guy was stuck on an island and keeps missing ways to get rescued. 😳 Horror Pack. 🧐🤨

I liked the Haunting Hour when I watched it in my 20's more than I expected too. It was weird seeing Tobin Bell in a kiddie horror movie! Did you know Rosemary Clooney was George Clooney's aunt? Also actor Miguel Ferrer was her son. He was in 3 Tales From the Crypt episodes and Stephen King's The Nightflyer. He's George Clooney's cousin.

Lololol Wow I remember when the haunting hour came out and Disney channel had a bunch of commercials for it but I remember only seeing about half of the movie before bailing on it haha just wasn’t my thing at the time I actually got some new titles myself! I recently moved into a new apartment! But I don’t have wifi yet :/ but that’s really got me back into watching all my physical media and I decided to treat myself to some new DVDs. I got two Tarantino movies: reservoir dogs and death proof! Both were two disc DVDs for only $6 each!! Lmao that goatwhore shirt is totally you! But I know for a fact you’re not gonna jive with their sound hahaha I’d love to see your reaction to them! Thank you again maggot mother for keeping your children fed with these physical media hauls! So jealous that you get to expand your thrifting reach across the globe! Just be careful that any physical media isn’t region locked so you can enjoy when you get back to the states!

Absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! when people are still collecting VHS/DVDs/BluRays/Records/Tapes/CDs. Long live physical media. A Music Collection or movie collection with "garbage" movies and music is still 10000xs times better than great music and movies that are streamed. Not saying your collection is garbage just making a point.

Gotta love the special features on 2000-2004ish DVDs where the special features are just a lame photo gallery or link to a lame website lol.. Yep I'm always obligated to acknowledge Teen Wolf, arguably the first movie I ever fell in love with.. one of the greatest lessons I learned at 5 years old was that the "regular girls" like Boof are always the realest compared to girls like Pamela.. it actually has one of my favorite endings after the game when he completely walks by Pamela ignoring her and goes straight to Boof, wise choice Scott! Also if you never noticed, the movie ends with an extra who has his jeans zipper unzipped and his pants "undone", it's weird but kinda funny, it's noticeable seconds before the movie ends on a freeze frame..

The Frank Sinatra stuff lol. While he has some catchy songs I am not a fan of him because he went out with Natalie Wood ( when she was a child)🤮. He also dumped Mia Farrow because he was mad at her for filming Rosemary’s Baby…. Defintely not a fan of Sinatra. On a better note, I loved My Babysitter’s a Vampire too!

I have been collecting physical media since I was 10 years old that was in 1990. I know such a long time ago. I have done an entire year of horror pack and decided to cancel my subscription. I’m not 100% satisfied with what we receivedjust seems to be a little too low budget on most titles.
