For more than 40 years, Arkansas Children’s urology program has cared for children with bladder, kidney and urinary tract conditions. Our program consists of fellowship-trained urologists who offer comprehensive care for various urology diseases and problems, and expertise in noninvasive urology tests and minimally invasive surgery. The urology program has expanded to include surgeons, advanced practice registered nurses, multiple specialty and clinic nurses and Springdale, Jonesboro and central Arkansas clinics. The program is also increasing its collaboration with the nephrology team. Children come from across the state and regionally to receive care from Arkansas Children’s urology, one of seven nationally ranked programs by U.S. News & World Report. A children’s body is delicate, and their treatments must be too. Creating a care plan with the family’s input is a cornerstone of the program’s philosophy.
