commonly sa chemistry ginagamit ung ganyan. ibig sabihin lng po niyan ay sobra siya ng 7 na protons (or nawalan sya ng 7 na electrons). so yung +7 ay +7e where e is the charge of proton/electron

There's no direction since the net electric field is zero Just like the net force, if a net force is zero that means the object is not moving. Therefore, there's no direction since it is not moving to any.
