Summary for myself. 1. understand what's happening in a question. understand the process then you'll figure out the equations you need to get from the first point to the end. don't try to find a equation to connect the first point to the final point 2. use past papers to figure out exactly what you need to know from theory. theres always extra info u wouldn't even need that u would study 3. don't try to look at a question using a previous question. how do u do that? try to understand what's happening in every question as explained in point 1. then u won't look at a new question w the ghost of a previous question looming over u. MCQ •no lesson is hard. some have more content than the others. •understand the gist? of a lesson first. don't just memorize the equations and the graphs. understand what's happening in the equations and the graphs. •do MCQs from past papers alone. then go through their review(?) thingy (esp. the one by prof Rosa). do it again and again. STRUCTURED • mechanics, waves, heat, current electricity • understand the theory part behind the prac and then go through the prac • do questions from the year 2000 and check the marking scheme •repeat, repeat, repeat • finish one section (ex: heat) first then go to the next. you'll realize you've completed theory along the way. ESSAY • figure out the sections they ask in a question. it's pretty similar every year •have the notes w ya to refer and do em questions. you'll realize that not everything's from theory some are things u gotta use ur brain to understand •basically, do a question, go through the marking scheme, look at the review by prof. Rosa • don't select questions ur gonna skip. sometimes they would end up being easy. prepare urself for all 8 questions then go through the paper then select the easiest 4 suggested lessons for people having ALs in about 3 months ▪︎grav fields ▪︎waves and optics ▪︎a lesson with drusyawathawaya or something. idk which one this is probably properties of matter? gotta check ▪︎heat don't try to do everything just select some u can and do em well. good luck!!
