Ek only exists where there is movement. Where the object is stationary, then Ek is zero. Ep is zero where an object is on the ground. Where the object is elevated above the ground, there is potential energy.

​@@mmabontlechiloane8868 I think the problem is that you are rounding off other calculated values that you insert into another formula. the more you keep rounding off and adding to another formula the more your last answer will be off by a few decimal points and you will get the final wrong in a test. so just watch out for that. I made that mistake in grade 11 and never again
