I did mistake of taking acceleration directly negative by using (dv/dt) < 0. I learned a new concept from this video.

simply do the product of velocity and acceleration as negative and then use wavy curve method to solve the inequality

-×+ or +×- in both case answer will be negative So inequality is taking account of signs of acceleration and velocity so no need to say there is misconception ether you can say different approach.

For all those kudos thinking that at t=-1,-2... Velocity will be +ve.. Remember time can never be negative hence its correct to say accordingly that for t

@@saurabhpandey8681 Remember the word *NOTHING* doesn't exist..You will always keep improving as much time you spent with chapters from various resources..For sure you will always keep improving. But as time is limited and we have to take care of all three subjects as well..Hence do pratice till your satisfactory level upto certain number of questions.. And YEAH Physics Galaxy is *GEM* it's upon you whether you consider it enough or not enough.m I am JEE 2021 ASPIRANT

@@saurabhpandey8681 Yes concept taken are more than enough for understanding and acknowledging Concpet.. But make sure you watch all lecture sequentially and make notes.. And it would be better if you do self read theory and attempt atleast 40-50 from any standard books.. Easily you can excel for sure..

sir please help me solve this problem iam not getting this Ball A is dropped from the top of a building at the same instant that ball B is thrown vertically upward from the ground. When the balls collide, they are moving in opposite directions, and the speed of A is twice the speed of B. At what fraction of the height of the building does the collision occur. sir answer is 2/3 sir your only my teacher god

at 2:31 why u didn't equate t^2-t=0 as u did in case of acceleration..pls Explain Sir and also why did you equate a=0

a is equated to 0 to find the time when sign of a is changing... and for velocity we need to find the times when the sign of v is opposite to a i.e. retarding what is asked in problem...

@@kumkumjha282 it's your misconception that in retardation dv/dt is -ve. Sir clearly said that in retardation hte sign of velocity and acceleration is opposite. whether it can be accn=-ve , vel=+ve or accn=+ve , vel=-ve
