HWIL 1) Ans ; 200N let a be the acc. of mass attached to spring balance and let T be the tension in the string equation: T - 4g = 4a in the question it is given that : T = 4kg = 40N so a = 0 equation of second mass acc . due to pseudo force = F / M = A : M = total mass equation for second block 4A - T = 4a = 0 4A = T = 4ON A = 10m/s^2 A = F/M = F/(12+4+4) = F/20 = 10 F = 200N
@AdityaSingh-qf8dk3 жыл бұрын
First Answer :200 Newton,. 2nd Answer :12kg,24kg respectively Derivation of first answer:. Acceleration=F/12+4+4(on system). Since reading is 4 kg implies the both 4kg block will be at rest thus 4a=T=40Newton a=10m/s^2 implies F=200Newton Derivation of 2nd answer: Make equation of both the blocks as such you will get:(200-T=40a)*2______eq(1)(note that we have multiplied it by 2 for future reference 2T-200=20a______eq(2). Adding both we get a=2m/s^2 and T=120 Newton Now reading on spring 1 is T/10=120/10=12kg Reading on spring 2 is 2T/10=240/10=24kg Hope you got it

How can we guarantee sp2 block will go up?
@AdityaSingh-qf8dk3 жыл бұрын
@@jyotijumde7019 there are two answer to your question: 1)you can observe that the tension on sp2 is 2T while on sp1 is T thus sp2 goes up since both block have same masses ,however this observation doesn't helps always..... 2) if you want you can consider that sp2 goes down and make all equations at last you will found that the acceleration is negative ,this means acceleration is in opposite direction of what we have supposed!

@@vatsal512 hmm sure Look Question is demanding for value of F for which spring reads 4kg Okk Now Applied force (F) = some of all masses times net acceleration of system Here Say, F= 20kg times acceleration Now Look for upper block As system moves with "a" Upper block also moves with "a" as a part of system And the driving force is tension So T= 4×a Or T=4(F/20) { a=F/M} Or F=5T Now spring reads 4kg implies T/g is 4kg... F= 5T =5(4×g) = 200 Hope it helps👍🏻
