Physio Fribourg Long COVID and Physiotherapy Workshop

Physio Fribourg, the Physiotherapy association of Fribourg Switzerland, hosted a free online workshop on Long COVID and Physiotherapy on 20th May 2021 in collaboration with Long COVID Physio. This workshop was hosted by Physiotherapist Loïc Bel with guest Darren Brown, a Physiotherapist living with Long COVID.

Your description of your symptoms is a precise parallel to ME/CFS. Exertion causes multisystem harm. Minimising exertion creates the possibility of improvement or recovery. This is a disturbance of the immune system…fit, healthy young people have immune systems that can overcome the virus well, but perhaps their immune systems are vulnerable to the over-reaction that can produce long covid.
