I have a question, so if the lession on the midbrain, the facial nerve involved to?? Ipsilateral or contralateral??
@PhysioClassroom4 жыл бұрын

9:13sir could u specify where the lesion is if same so facial nerve and hemiplegia is involved..n hpw is it possible if u could explain
@docjagsfit67983 жыл бұрын
hello sir, goodafternoon, i have one doubt in this lecture, when there is c/l facial n/v involvement then we see finding of rt side facial palsy & left hemiplegia but when lesion is on same side then we get left side facial palsy of lower quadrant of face only due to bilateral facial involvement but this bilateral supplies also should b there in case of c/l lesion then in that case how the whole rt side face involved? it is also supplied by the other side of corticobulbar tract, then there should be involvement of only rt side of lower face!! plz explain me
@PhysioClassroom3 жыл бұрын
Only the upper half of the VII cranial nerve nuclei has bilateral innervation and the lower half is supplied exclusively by C/L cortex. When lesion is in pons the whole of nuclei is affected and so we will have I/L LMN type facial palsy and C/L hemiplegia as descending CS tracts will cross over at medullary level. When lesion is above pons, only the c/l lower half of the nuclei is affected and so we have UMN type facial palsy and hemiplegia contralaterally.
@docjagsfit67983 жыл бұрын
@@PhysioClassroom m sorry sir, i got it that lesion in the PONS and affecting whole nuclei but are both nuclei is getting affected? in that case, i think ... because if one side nuclei is affected then b/l innervation can save the uuper half of face.

met a guy Paul Griswold he became one with me so I would die if a brainbleed they hypnotized me when I was on drugs I forgot who I was and they destroyed my memories they are all guilty here but the worst people are meikey psychomeiko from Gaia s platform and Paul boss my parents nico de graaff and saskia agterhof . my brother fake his autism he destroyed my childhood they destroyed me life was horrible and difficult for me they are super mean..... So I finally figured out what is happening to me they fucking played me so I wouldn't remember how things work in life and couldn't care for myself anymore. My energy dropped out of my body and everybody was playing confusing songs for me on the tv and etc. Saying we wun we caught a big fish. Is not ok. Now everybody is bullying me to death they are up my memories and I'm not in any state to recover. They are all my memories people are evil all I did was good and they played me to the beat the fuckers murderd me and made a gigantic trip out of it everybody reading my mind and playing me. Putting thoughts in my head. In bijna die in 2 years i need some lead
