Such a big help sir, im really crying so hard trying to remember all the patterns in Voss Pnf and there you are saying they are not essential as long as you master these faciliation techniques.

Thank you so much sir for existing .. I don't think so I have seen anyone explaining things so beautifully.... But I had one doubt sit ... Uptill now you have explained all the techniques of PNF using examples of ADL.... But like as per book .... Are we supposed to perform all these techniques by using PNF pattern of D1 ,D2 flexion and extension ....

Pattern represent diagonals in which we carry out functional movements. So it's always better to use functional PNF than Fancy PNF. Knowledge bof patterns is also must as it helps the therapist to choose and modify exercises to promote movement initiation , strengthening and stabilization etc.

Very informative video. I just want to point out one thing. The modification you did in dynamic reversal where you said dynamic reversal can also be modified by having patient hold in the end range instead of continuous movement of agonist and antagonist without break. That variation where you have the patient hold in the end range is called "Slow reversal".

Holding at a range and performing alternate contraction of agonist and antagonist will be stabilizing reversal ( isotonic) or rhythmic stabilization ( isometric). Thanks for watching Physioclassroom 💕

Sir taking the same example of elbow muscles being tight... How do i make out that I've to use slow reversal(PNF stretch) or simply a passive stretch... How do i prefer that which one is better for the patient?

Hello, Thanks for watching Physioclassroom 😊 Use Reversal of Antagonist technique to improve coordination and train reversal of Movements, to facilitate contraction and joint stability. Use hold relax and contractvreleax to improve ROM ( needs to be used when elbow extension is limited due to tight biceps) Use Rhythmic Initiation technique to improve ROM, muscle strength and motor control Use Combination of Isotonics to improve motor control in a particular range by improving strength of muscle contraction. Use Repeated stretch technique to improve strength and motor control Use Replication technique to facilitate learning of ADL activities. These often overlooked and seldom-treated areas of the body are the cause and solution for many types of pain, including: Restricted motion Pain with or without motion Reduced spontaneity of motion Muscle tightness, stiffness, and/or tension The Primal Reflex Release Technique™️ treatment system offers an innovative combination and application of techniques that facilitate rapid “neural reboot.” This neural reboot resets the neural control of joints, muscles, and fascia to release joint restrictions, trigger points, and fascial restrictions not unlike when you reboot your computer. The assessment and treatment of overly protective joint and muscle reflexes is a natural addition to any pain-relief practice. It will blend seamlessly with any other techniques and will enhance the effectiveness by removing the barrier of resistance that primal reflexes trigger. The PRRT methods often eliminate or alleviate pain in as little as one treatment. The quick results make treatment affordable for patients, and the specialized training is easy to master.

That's a great video! Thank you for sharing. Can I start with Rthymic stabilization and progress to dynamic reversal and stabilizing reversal? It seems like dynamic reversal (isotonic) and stabalizing reversal (isotonic) more challaning that rthymic stabilization (isometric)?

Use DR for improving coordination and improving mobility and use SR for improving coordination and STRENGTH for a particular range. Use RS for improving stability. Ideal progression will be from RS to SR to DR
