Hello ma'am, very well explained. I have 1 question? whenever i check bp of someone with manual bp apparatus, 1st reading is always high for example (130/75) then after 2 min interval i take second reading and its came (120/70) after that i take 2-3 more readings within a gap of 2-3 minutes in each readings and all the readings was around (115-120/70-75) can you explain Why 1st reading is always high even on manual bp apparatus? Thanks.

The most important precaution in this practical is 10 minute rest before first measurement. Then we can have baseline. Our Baroreceptors are alwys activated to maintain pressure throughout day. So bp is high when we are active.

@@araibkhan4398BP can change over time as said by ma'am it's regulated by the baroceptors. Whenever you take BP, take the average of the two readings as the inference and please read about the concept of white coat hypertension
