Sir, hip joint flexion would be considered a spin movement or anterior roll & posterior slide ? how to determine rolling aspect in hip flexion ? thank you...

Hip flexion is an impure spin movement. Impure because the acetabulum is not aligned with the sagittal plane, but also faces anterior and caudal. What is often done as mobilization technique is flexion coupled with a caudal glide.

When I want to increase hip flexion, I should try to put the tension on the dorsal side of the hip capsule right? So I need to do a translation dorsally? No need for any rotation or and abduction component right?

While standing I raise my left leg and when I place it vack on the ground there is a pop in my hip specially when I turn my fumor to the inside direction.. What should I consider looking at?
