Im so frustrated of people telling this was a boring battle or the dj sucks, this people don't read or watch documentaries about hip hop beginnings, if you want to see acrobatics go watch the olympics, this battle was about feeling the music and sing with your body, many people dont understand hip hop dance!

After first watching this last, firstly the level is s nuts!!! Both have completely unique styles and how they interpret music. I must say I think icee won the first two rounds and the last a draw. Icee started off ahead then either got tied or lost the feel of the beat. They both pushed each other to a extremely high level of hip hop. Both OG's of hip hop

Physs is a very mature dancer... he dances so effortlessly with all the concepts. the key here is to not look out for hype moments, but to follow him as he inteprets the songs

Not much of a big fan of Physs either, have a hard time connecting with him but I do acknowledge he's good.

@gareth the problem I have with him is that I can't connect to how he interprets songs. I mean this goes for any dancer if you can't connect with them, but for me Physs in particular doesn't click at all with how I want a dancer to ride certain songs. Personally Icee did much better for me. After all "interpretation" is subjective so you can't really get mad at me for stating an opinion

^true, having an open mind is really hard for both sides. Even for me, I like most everyone in the scene except Physs. I've now grown to pretty much "I hate his style" lol, looking at him makes me roll my eyes for some reason. I respect his craft, but that doesn't change how I feel about him. Kinda like how most everyone views LT/Waydi/Skitzo/Bluprint/Majid/etc. here. Such is life haha

I Love Summer Dance but i've never been a fan of the Judges Being able to Compete for the Win. Like they didnt go through Pre-Lims or battle anybody. Feels like a shallow victory

Honestly not feeling Physs style, moves I feel are to vague an dont flow with musicality. Icee cleaned up first round. Tho I've neva been an Icee fan much either. They keep him around since he's all about foundation an the foundation of HIPHOP is ultimately wha I feel they are trying to preserve. Wha I've noticed from watching all these battles these past 7 years. Especially in battles like this an how they always weed out the super new FWESH ORIGINAL NEW AGE STYLE and end up with these old school style rooted movements. Icee won in my opinion.
