PIA at Amsterdam Schiphol ** 1989 **

My return trip from Karachi (KHI) Pakistan back to DFW airport in 1989. From Amsterdam to Chicago on KLM, Chicago to DFW on AA.

*Golden memories!* Plus *Golden era of PIA!* The 747-200, which was ACTUAL work horse of PIA in those days, when it was NO-DOUBT *"Queen of the skies"* . Also, seen there is the KLM DC-10! A Plane, which was all the way a mark of MODERN-AVIATION in 70s thru 80s! Beautiful, heart-warming era----that actually was, dear *Imran Naqvi!* Million dollar worth video! Thanx for sharing it! Thanks, Faezadawed this video was made using Sony 8mm Video camcorder. Some of the travel was on KLM to Chicago and to DFW on American Airlines. Always loved flying on 747'S, especially PIA.

And you mentioned DFW! One of the greatest wonder of aviation; so much great that it led Bruce Willis made his famous *"Die Hard"* series GROW by another number thru *Die-hard 2* , which was all the way shot at DFW (1990--91).

@@Imrantub bro actually the route you have descirbed wasnt started till 1992 however the time this vid was filmed JFK and YYZ WERE the only two long haul transatlantic North American destinations PIA flew to. Infact PIA has never actually flown to DFW the guy may have flown to THIS JFK or LHR bound 747 cuz PIa used a300s or 707s for seperate flights to AMS. Also Chicago Washington and Houston werent started till 1996

@@Imrantub Also if you wanna know the rights PIA despite JFK being the Only US Airport being served PIA at that time was quite a common customer there with 7 weekly flights to Newyork JFK. 1. Karachi-Cairo-Amsterdam-Newyork 2x a week 2.Karachi-Damascus-Frankfurt-Newyork 2x a week 3.Karachi-Cairo-Rome-Paris-Newyork 2x a week 4.Islamabad-Istanbul-Amsterdam-Newyork 1x a week flights to Toronto YYZ were also flown via Jfk Karachi-Damascus-Frankfurt-Newyork-Toronto 3x a week
