At 16:33 a very nice way of correcting the copilot when he called out right heading 035. The radio controller nicely corrected copilot, "left heading 035, right will make you 360"... And laughter of captain. Really really nice to see correction and communication.

This isn't the Combi if it is a 747-300, PIA had to two 747-200 Combi aircrafts.

Who would use a 747 for Karachi to Lahore.

Pia used it every time I travelled from Karachi to Islamabad now pia uses 777-300 for short routes such as Karachi Dubai Karachi Islamabad and believe it or not the planes used to be full and it's still rare to find a empty seat in a plane of near 400 capacity i.e 777-300 er

@@strangerx1 it all depends on the demand of the route if a particular route has a high cargo and passenger demand it makes perfect sense to use a wide body jet.

I don't think so , instead of buying 320's they bought more and more 777s and used it on shorter routes. 30 mins of climb and descent in 2 hour flight. 1 take off, taxi and landing evey 2 hours with 1 compression cycle of the airframe. For a 777 and a poor airlines already in loss is not justifiable.

Outdated planes with all analog controls along with outdated flying procedures. While the world has moved onto 2 person cockpit crew, we're still stuck in 1980s with 3 members cockpit crew. This is just another shining example of chronic over-staffing problem that's been adding up the operating costs.

True but most of the airlines still uses 3 person cockpit . However the old models were pretty much efficient rather than new generation. You may take an example of 737 max ..
