I'm using a NGK B7HS. But the main cooling comes from the right jetting, and ignition timing. Too lean jetting or too much ignition advance kill an engine like this pretty fast. I only have my point gap set to 0,30-0,35 mm, or else i have too much advance and knocking/detonation.

Please remember, the Bravo engines, late had a much bigger cylinder head. I changed the cylinder head on my 1977 Cioa and ond the engine now in my 1987 Bravo. That solves the problem.

What bridge/subframe is on the bravo? I wanna put a tuned 65cc (brevetatto) motor on my Vespa bravo. But I am wondering if i could keep the original bridge?

It's the original one, i have no problems with it. But I've seen broken frames on others bravos. I run the original one on several bravos without issues.

@@CarstenLorenzen12V Danke, das ist ja doof. Ich hab noch eine Frage, du bist ja Spezialist. Ich wollte auch eine Speedengine aufbauen, genau wie in deinem Video oben, auf dezent gemacht, mit verändertem Originalauspuff. Meine 95er Bravo Vario Mop. läuft so 60 aber mit Originalmotor komm ich da nicht mehr weiter. Welche Bauteile würdest du nach deinem heutigen Wissensstand nehmen ? Ich würde tendieren zum Pinasco Zylinder (der teure mit 5 Kopfschrauben für 250ca.) und Pinasco Kurbelwelle. Ich trau dem malossi Kram nicht so recht. Irgendwelche Tipps ? Ich kenn den Speedengine (noch) nicht....

@@stefanm.247 Ich würde den original motor etwas mehr auf machen, Mazzucchelli AMT004 Kurbelwelle oder original bearbeiten. Dazu DR 43 mm. Speedengine alleine bringt nicht mehr, und der Pinasco ist ziemlich mild und teuer. Ich hab schon Fotos von gebrochenen Pinasco Kolben, Auspuff stutzen und kaputte Wellen gesehen, alles von der neuesten Serie. Ich hab selber den 42 evoten auf dem Tisch, bin mal gespannt ob der hält.

@@CarstenLorenzen12V Ok, dann lass ich das mal mit dem Pinasco Zylle.Die 004 Welle hattest du schon im Forum gelobt, ich erinner mich, das merk ich mir mal. Momentan siehts bei mir so aus: Bravo Elo Moped, lief exakt 50. Motor zerlegt, DR63 drauf, Die Boostports im Gehäuse nicht eingefeilt (dabei gabs ja so eine schöne Beschreibung von dir....) Vergaser Dellorto 13/13, Malossi Luftfilter mit 6-- 3mm Löchern drin (lauter will ichs nicht) Düse 58, rehbraune Kerze, originale Vario, unverändert. Bringt 55, mehr nicht. Originalauspuff aufgeflext, Bohrungen vergrössert, zugeschweisst, unsichtbar. Beim durchpusten spürt man fast keinen Widerstand. Ich finde 55 sehr Lahm für den Aufwand. Hast ne Idee warum so relativ lahm ? Danke. Wenn ich die 004 Welle einbaue gegenüber der original Mopedwelle, was bringt das ?

What brakes do you use?

Jörg Zingler i always try to reuse the original ones if they have enough padding. A bit of sanding and brake cleaner, and they work very well. Other than that i use Newfren, they work fine, but take some time to get properly seated. Like most aftermarket i guess. If possible, i use the original brake wires. The thin aftermarket ones are too elastic and give a weak brake feel.

68 - With the Polini airfilter, 6*6 mm holes drilled in the back like the manual says. Works great, no oil or blue smoke from the exhaust and i can go at full speed forever, never runs hot etc.
thats not a road to drive that fast(first part) and that bike ? i once had one and suddenly the splash board of the front wheel came loose and it blocked the wheel : kept sliding for 20 meters was lucky not to fall .

In Denmark it's sold as Vespa Bravo, same with the other models. At the time of the video, i didn't know that all other countries use the original Piaggio as the brand.

@@CarstenLorenzen12V I'm Italian, i live in a city near of the stabilment of piaggio (Pisa) The piaggio has made the vespa, the Bravo, and the si. These Last one are so similar. The apecar too was made by piaggio.

Everything is relative, it's much quieter than i.ex. the Giannelli Original Power or a expansion pipe like the Proma Circuit :-)
