I removed the carb restrictor and put in 5g rollers. But didn't do much. @@vitv2511 Sorry. forgot about the variator shaft. the limiter shim is one piçe in these bikes. You will need the variator shaft from an older model or have a shop shaver the ring off. This is a good article that explains it. The variator shadt will allow you to hit your top speed without limitation but won't affect your off line acceleration. the exhaust is the big restriction. www.pedparts.co.uk/blog/how-to-derestrict-euro4-piaggio-typhoon-50cc-2-stroke-scooter

I've had it sitting for a long time. Since 2020. it was ridiculously slow. Dangerously slow. Was too scared to cross intersection. Removing the carb and variator restriction didn't do anything. Put lighter weight rollers..... improved very little. But the exhaust is the real restriction on it. It starts much easier.... much faster off the line. have not gotten past 50kph yet.... I live deep in the city.... no place to get it up to speed. Others have claimed 75, 80kph. If I can reach 75....I may have the rollers to light....4.8g.
