Thank you so much for sharing this! I had no idea this was possible. The disc locks I've tried are terrible for the city because they go off way too easily. Have the option for different levels of movement before the alarm goes off is so smart.

Thanks for this, I was unlucky enough to get my Vespa GTS stolen last January. They couldnt get it started but they just cut it up trying to hot wire it. I have a 75th anniversary addition GTS now. I didn’t know there was a specific Vespa alarm, I will be buying one of these.

Very sorry to hear that. Congrats on getting your new scooter! I also recommend putting an AirTag (or similar) somewhere on the bike to keep track of it. If you wrap it in tape it can’t vibrate and make any noise. Thanks for watching.

There are over 20 million scooters in Taiwan. The best way to protect your scooter from being stolen is to use two U-shape bike locks to attach your scooter/bike to a roadlamp post or fence pole, or even to your car's anchor.

Thanks for the video. I have the fab but no light install. bought a dealer trade and no manual, so this is all the info I was able to get. what does the F button do ? when I push the lock the blue flashes but nothing seems to happen on the scooter.

Gotta be really close (within probably 2ft of the scooter) to pop the seat lock. F is function which if I remember correctly is how the alarm gets armed. With no accessories installed there are only two functions on the FOB - seat unlock and light flashing bike finder. I personally didn’t find either useful so I left that FOB in my garage unused.

I'm curious if stolen Vespa / Piaggio scooters are stolen 1) for parts or 2) planned to replace the immobilizer and keys or lastly 3) don't realize it has an immobilizer and end up abandoning it? If #2 then these thieves are intelligent and have good planning skills.

I have it on my gts, but not sure what level the sensitivity is set to, didn’t know that was a thing, the dealer I bought the bike from installed it when I bought the bike, and didn’t really tell me.

I have a different alarm, a Gorilla that pages a fob on my key chain. I had to park mine outside about 50 yards away from my apartment. If the fob went off I was going to intorduce the person to Mr. Lousiville Slugger.

@@VespaPortland Lisa's Red GTS250. They broke the steering lock and rolled it about 5 blocks away. Couldn't get it started because of chip. Bar found my registration and called us. Looks like it's totaled though. I'll probably be coming in to get this alarm.

Interestingly enough, they looked at my new black 300 first. Saw the red flashing light, then went to hers. I've got handlebar locks on it now too.
