I just bought a Piaggo MP3. It does stand up alone anytime you switch on the stableizer switch. You can do it at a red light if you want. Not just when you park. I do agree however that the bike is very heavy. A lot heavier than I knew before I bought it.

The manual says ,,do not release the lock with throttle. Use the tilt shift switch again, then throttle to avoid abrupt movement,, And only use it when parking instead of every stoplight helps it last longer without failing. Italian electronics are below normal in terms of quality and endurance. My 2 year old mp3 500 had a broken seatlock, and dead battery within a few weeks of buying it. I do love it though. Got a dashcam and akrapovic exhaust on it and unique reflective tape art😊 the one with koi,dragon and a autobots logo.

I’ve found a 2018, same color, same accessories for $3600. Based on your experience if it has been well maintained that seems like a good price but I would be interested in your thoughts. Also are there any major differences from the 2020 to 2018 model years? Thanks in advance, really enjoy your reviews.

what happens if you have a dead battery on the liberty 150, and you need to replace the battery, how do you get the seat to open because it is an electronic buttom you push to open the seat. thanks!!!
@VespaPortland16 күн бұрын
Put the key in your scooter and turn it to the off or on position and then press inward on the key as if you were trying to press it farther into the ignition. That will open up your glove box. In the bottom left corner there’s a little black lever that you can pull and it will pop the seat open. Good luck. I think it’s actually shown in this video as well.

Who knows which of two batteries on a scooter are treated as Battery A and Battery B by NIU App?
@VespaPortland16 күн бұрын
Take one out and check the app. There would be one missing from the display in that scenario and then you’d know.
@ochkarik196115 күн бұрын
@@VespaPortland l@VespaPortland Yes, sounds logical, but what can stop App to rename them after the second battery reinstalled ..😢
@VespaPortland15 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t worry about that. If you have any background and coding, you would know that they would need to program the app to randomly assign a battery to a place. And that wouldn’t make any sense.

From out of left field, Do you ride only Vespas? I only ride Vespa..no other types of motorcycles
@VespaPortlandАй бұрын
Yeah, exclusively scooters. It’s the thing that most closely resembles the feeling I got while riding a BMX bike from back in the day. I’m too old to try to learn how to go fast on a track with a sport bike. Dirt bikes are cool but it means I need to load it up and drive somewhere to ride it. Never had an interest in larger bikes like Harley cruisers. Adventure bikes seem fun but most of my riding is in the city and I’m not realistically going to take off for a few days on a longer ride. Maybe someday. At this point I just want good gas milage and something that gets me to a burrito. 😆
