Today I surprised the guests of an Italian restaurant but I didn't expect that 2 insanely talented opera singers would join me 🤯

In 1999 a similar thing to this happened on the last evening of our honeymoon in Sorrento. Small cafe terrace in one of the alleys with wonderful acoustics for a lone tenor singing unaccompanied, spontaneously, a selection of popular arias. Possibly the most magical thing that could have happened to us and now a coveted memory. My wife has dementia and cannot remember things from a few minutes ago but this is one memory that still lingers and brings her much pleasure. Long may it remain.❤

Tears again. I just found you tonight. This was wonderful!! I'll be back... Just too sad to listen to right now. My 32 year old, strong, healthy daughter, a beautiful soul and beautiful as well, had her Masters in Opera Performance, sang for Florida Grand Opera for 3 years, was about to audition for the Lyric when God decided He needed her more. She passed suddenly, without warning, and, by His Grace, quickly, of a ruptured aneurysm in her brain. She'd been singing since she was ten and studied and practiced with a fierceness that one needs to make it in the highly competitive world of opera. Her final concert, at age 32, was all Wagner and Strauss which so impressed them in Chicago that they wanted to hear her live. She was preparing her program with her vocal instructor when she passed two months before going up. This was just two years ago and the waves of grief still come and go. Having one now. I'll be back soon. I look forward to hearing more. This one took me out.

@lucaskuczek that my sweet Sarah passed away immediately and wasn't in a long, slow lingering coma and, more importantly, that she KNEW she was going to get her big chance, are the only things that I can draw comfort from. I am learning to cherish the memories I have and stop grieving for all the memories we would have made. That's one of the hardest parts of this journey I'm on. We were so very close... 🙏🏼 Thank you for your kind words. 🙏🏼

If this was not planned it is literally amazing that two talented opera singers were in the restaurant when he started playing. The odds of that happening cannot be that high. I am amazed he performs for free on KZbin. Emil Reinert is a Franco-German pianist who has won several prizes in various competitions, including the first prize at the 2019 Steinway Competition, the first prize at the Montrond-les-Bains Competition, and the second prize at the Elise-Meyer Competition. He has also performed with several orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Kielce in Poland and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Abruzzi in Italy. So he is among the top pianists in Europe.

Infact it's a new ( relatively,it's been on for years now ) way of making money , the number of viewers of the video will increase gradually and KZbin makes money from that through advertising and to make it interesting to contributeurs they repay some of that money to them so the pianist will get some money for the video and a lot more if the views reach's millions .

Wow! She went for that last note!❤😁Beautiful! I worked a restaurant where one of the owners brought in a professional opera singer to surprise her husband for his birthday one night. Our regular piano player as well as staff were in on it. As lead server I was told to stop service when signaled and bring the singer up to the piano which was in the middle of the place. She did La Habanera and was magnificent. I stood there and wept at the beauty. Truly memorable ❤ Thanks for the posts. Reminds me of a fabulous moment that happened before iPhones 😁
