I use the app and love it. After recording a try at playing, you can touch the screen and it will tell you what your mistake was if it is in yellow or red. Very helpful! Thanks again for a great review.

Have you ever looked at the UK editions of the Piano Adventures books? They are 2-in-One books, so you only need to buy 2 books per level instead of 4. I am in the US, so sadly they're not available to me unless I pay to ship them from overseas. I feel like my students would greatly benefit from using them because they seem a little faster paced (in level 3 and beyond) and it's just a little easier to focus on two books instead of 4 (even if the amount of asaignment pages remains similar). I would love to hear what you think about these books vs the standard US edition!

Quick question. You are using an acoustic piano, would this be more accurate if connected via MIDI? I will have a look at the application and see if MIDI is an option. Thank you for the information as I was unaware of this application before seeing this video.

I am guessing many people using this app will be using a digital keyboard… many of the issues could be easily overcome if it was midi compatible…

Good point. Although 90% of the kids I teach all have acoustic pianos

Useless on an electronic keyboard really. Shame but I'll pass. Faber make nice books but not so good apps I'm afraid. Am on iPad.
