-- HOW TO READ MUSIC NOTES --
- To read the notes, simply say or sing their names out loud or mentally while the note is played
- Try to sing or say the note name at the exact moment the name is played and appears. This way, you train your ear to recognize the names of the notes you hear and develop the habit of maintaining tempo (playing consistently without unintentionally slowing down or speeding up)
- If you prefer, you can still say or sing the note name before it appears. But not after: don't cheat yourself by waiting for the note name to be displayed before 'reading' it!
- You should be able to read the notes of each video easily, without any errors or hesitation, before moving on to the next video.
- Regularity is key: try to watch the videos for 3 to 5 minutes once or twice every day. Watching multiple videos in one hour and then waiting several days before starting again is not the most efficient approach.
- Don't hesitate to use Timestamps when needed (see below)
-- TIMESTAMP --
Use the timestamp to replay notes that you have not mastered perfectly (errors, hesitations, etc.).
00:24 SI key in color
01:03 SI key in black
