This one is dedicated to my Uncle who was an extremely talented musician ( guitar and vocals who played only by ear ).
In the 60's in Greenwich Village, New York, Peter, Paul and Mary used to play in coffee houses and my uncle joined in with them sometimes. This was in the " beatnik " era in the 60's.
The song was written by John Denver .
I hope you like this.
This cover /improv was created in the " moment " as I do with all of my improvisations. I play by ear and do not know how to read music.
Playing on a Roland FP-90X .

One of the most beautiful songs from the sixties, played with heartfelt love by you .. I remember when there were many in the forces ( USA ) who played this for those they had to leave behind. Radio was so important for them back then, our connections are so much better now , but just imagine being half a world away and wanting your love to be remembered.
