It's actually not that hard once you understand the logic behind it, and you just need to use it only if you want to simplify the movement of your hand while playing and make the sound a bit more interesting.
@mxryuu75504 жыл бұрын
Both 1st and 2nd inversion will have a stretch between fingers 1 and 2. Remember that Play a chord with fingers 1-3-5 as usual. Move 1 to where 3 was and play 1-2-5. This is 1st inversion. Move 1 to where 2 was and play 1-3-5 (remember the stretch!). This is 2nd inversion. Once again, move 1 to where 3 was. Now you would be back at your original chord - no stretch this time, play 1-2-3. It’s a difficult pattern to master, but there is a rhythm that can be followed for any chord inversions. Hoped this helps :)
@felicitagonzalez9313 жыл бұрын
Once you play with them for awhile it'll be super easy to play them without hesitation. Just be persistent and keep playing!

Bloody hell! This man has (all the) improv that I can only cry to learn and do with extreme impossibility! And he uses the curse of Pachebel as an example and then lifted the curse with improv! Most KZbinrs do talk about improvisations but extremely vaguely. Coincidentally I plan to re-learn piano once again as an old MOFO as I now am. But due to aging issue I do not need the traditional learning that 99.9999% of 'teachers' teach to squeeze more money out of learners. I now am seriously thinking of learning from this man.

Hi there, I can read music but I choose to play chord notation because that's what I find enjoyable and effective. I'm not sure which foreign music you mean, but the chord-based approach can work for all sorts of songs across many genres. The best way to see if the songs you are interested in can be played this way is by Googling the song name plus "chords". Usually one of the top results will be good. :) -Jacques

to make chord inversions easier, atleast 1st inversion look at your pinky for the c as long as u know the finger position for the inversion example E G C look at the position of fingers now hold that shape and move it down or up so your pinky lands on the next note in the progession.

Is it ok that I play the chord with my left hand (and improvise the left hand) while playing a simple right hand melody? When I purchase sheet music with the lyrics, there are two right hand staves. The upper is simple notes that follow the words of the song. The middle staff if played is harder to sing along with. So I've been playing the upper right hand staff and improvising playing chords on the left hand. But I want it to sound more 'passionate'. Am I doing everything backwards? lol. Amazing video!

Hi, very good video, too bad you ruined it with the explanation of the inversions, you shouldn't put one theme inside another, or you should clarify it in the title of the video, me and most of us who are looking for improvisation videos already know the chords and their inversions, I would have preferred you to use that time to better explain improvisation with arpeggios, in fact you did not explain how to improvise with arpeggios, but only showed how to use arpeggios, I hope you take my message as a constructive critique to improve your videos, thanks
