Piano - Improvisation - with only 3 notes

Composer Jean-Jacques Coetzee and I wondered if it would be possible to create a musical work with only 3 notes. 🎶
Listen to his great "Bagatelle No. 18", which he created with only 3 notes. ( @JeanJacquesCoetzee )

@@juliane_steinwachs-zeil Reminds me of this one cartoon I liked as a teenager called Animaniacs where these three cartoon kids that look like inkblot people are making a song with the caretaker guy driving them around, he's like a father figure. At first he was like "how can you make a song with just two notes?" but he soon understood what the one was doing with his little toy accordion and got really into it. Then at the end he tried to make a one-note song with his car horn, his boss saying that those kids are really rubbing off on him with their zaniness, haha.

I thought about the finitude of life through the variations in the composition of your three notes. Humans recognize themselves through anxiety about death. Because human life is finite, I believe that we cannot pursue all of these things in life and that each person needs to make choices and decisions about what they want. I think that the variations of these three notes can reflect human finite life. Humans draw out the times leading up to their lives and deaths through three notes that they can choose from. Thank you very much, dear Gwanghae, for your wonderful interpretation! It is a good idea to compare human life and its choices with choosing from 3 notes. In music, I choose from the 3 notes, but I choose so that there is a connection and that there is a musical content. I think we also choose in life in such a way that there is a connection, or rather that there is a development. Then I didn't choose C or B, it had to be E. 😊 At the end of life, it was no coincidence when which note came. Every decision for a tone had to come as it did, and we can learn from every tone. There are only 3 tones, but there are actually an infinite number of tones, because the 3 tones are new tones with new meanings in every musical context. And from every note we choose, we learn anew.
