i used to hate playing the piano cuz of my 2nd piano teacher. i wasnt very good and he also had no patience and so ive been critisised soo much and cried soo much gahd. he once threw a pen at my music sheets while i was playing cuz he was soo mad and had to walk out of lessons or end a little earlier. after being with him for like 3 years or like 2 years i finally convinced my mum to let me quit once i finish grade 5 and because i got into kpop i became more intrested in music and was scared of giving up piano cuz i still do have a passion for performing and music(even tho i suck) which is why i do music in school...i thought i hated the piano but really it was the teacher....my mum says if i want to continue i will have to go back to him....i really hate the thought and am too scared to tell my mum cuz my piano teacher teaches kids that are reaaaallly good. but then again scary piano teachers are soo common

I would just like to say that not all piano teachers are scary. I've had two teachers and none of them threw anything or yelled at me. They may have raised their voice due to frustration, but they've never shouted at me or done anything that made me scared of them to the point where I hated playing piano. I hope you can find a teacher who is like that so you can really enjoy playing the instrument ^^

My piano teacher was scary too, she throw my music sheet, made me write 100x ‘Ill never make same mistake again’, criticizes me every time I’ve got my dinamica wrong yet I became her student for 7 years. And now, sometimes I visited her and talk like an aunt to her niece. Because as the MC said, I know that piano is really hard moreover classic piano, and I really need that mental for play it in front of people. Because of that I could play piano when I got nervous and my hands shaking lol. Funny but that’s true.

I hated learning to play the piano because my teacher didn't care if I actually learned or not. I was quiet and lacked confidence in class surrounded by kids who were the exact opposite which honestly didn't put me anywhere near being one of the kids she cared about teaching properly. She kinda gave me passes on everything instead of helping me which just....When my mom finally let me stop taking classes I about never touched a piano again. I think if I had a teacher that taught everyone fairly I wouldn't have had such an aversion to the piano.

Donghwan seem so harsh, be relax the girl just do not practice enough, forget to do homework. Please let her know the booth of practicing, Don't touch the keyboard before you stop her and tell what's wrong. Your demo go before she notice what is going on is function less.
