Wait, I have a big sister AND stairs Brb gonna make omori: RTX ON
@zander62593 жыл бұрын
I’ll be honest here and say that this was the one initial reason I subscribed to this channel. The final act of OMORI rocked me to my core, and this moment was the peak of the emotional devastation. I heard the FIRST note of the original track, and it made me cry. No, I was sobbing, my eyes were gushing with tears as I cried for what was the first time in YEARS. For that reason alone, this song was my favorite of the OST, because it was a memento of just how much this game effected me. And I desperately wanted to learn it on piano, because I wanted to play this masterpiece myself, but searching on KZbin and Various sheet music websites yielded no result. I figured that it was because it was overshadowed by duet, as there were many arrangements of that, or that a violin track couldn’t fully translate to piano, or maybe it was hard to find just because it shared the name of the game. But I saw that this channel had uploaded a lot of OMORI arrangements and was still consistently doing so. So I opened the most recent one and requested “could you do OMORI - OMORI?” I subscribed to the channel, in wait of the day that they would maybe make one, so I could learn it myself. That was almost two months ago now, so it was no short wait, but I have to say that I’m really grateful that it took this long. A couple weeks of waiting later, I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t gonna happen any time soon, and that I should make the most out of what was there. Since then, I’ve learned a handful of other OMORI OSTs using your sheet music on your website, and that’s caused me to better value the OST as a whole, my skills as a piano player, and even to some extent, my own life. My wait for this track is over now, but I certainly won’t be unsubscribing any time soon. Your arrangements are just incredible, and this one is definitely no exception. I still can’t believe your doing this project for free. Words can’t express just how grateful I am for this channel, but that didn’t stop me from trying. Peace :)

But, Omori is the part of Sunny who think his friends will hate him if they know the truth, a part of him who hate himself for what he has done, a part of him who think he doesn't deserve forgiveness. Pianobin is the goat and no one beats his piano covers, but I feel that this is the only song in the game's ost whose effect can't be replicated by any other instrument than a violin. The piano maintains its inflection of sadness, but the violin's strings in the original song hold an emotional weight, as their dynamic inflection and timbre convey the anguish that is trapped in sunny's mind. One of the most simplistic tracks in the entire soundtrack and yet it's one of the best executed. Still a great cover!
@dusaprukiyathan16133 жыл бұрын
At the same time, something new is created with the piano instead.
@isaaceyfish3 жыл бұрын
@@dusaprukiyathan1613 i agree. The sound of this particular melody repeated over and over on a piano has some sort of unique effect to it, it feels like it holds more weight, feels more impactful, than other sad piano melodies I’ve heard. But with the violin it’s like that weight is pronounced much more heavily compared to the piano. You can hear every bit of sorrow and anguish that sunny has repressed over the span of 4 years in the violin, whereas the piano is much more subtle through its depressing and almost melancholic tones.
