Young people around the world are learning how to swing dance. They have International Lindy Hop Championships every year, and it's full of young people. I live in Philly, and we have a good group of dancers here, and we have meetups with dancers from Baltimore, DC, and Lancaster. It's such a fun style of dance.

The piano player was playing from his heart, it was contagious - the woman who started the dancing was lifted by his music, she's a great dancer - amazing that so many good dancers joined in. @@annethomson4920 No, when you do that dance, you learn certain patterns and then you can dance with anyone. Also, it's a dance that when one person starts a move, the other person feeds off of it. And... the last part had 2 dances that everyone learns... the big apple (the one when everyone was in a circle), and the last one --I know it too, but can't remember the name... but its always done at every function that does that particular dance. So... it's not likely that it was choreographed, but it is likely that they all dance in the same dance community on a regular basis.

I have watched these awesome videos for years. It never ceases to amaze me the small number of people who stop and enjoy, compared to the majority who wander past oblivious, a truly sad reflection on society. My 15 and 12 year old daughters and I always stop and appreciate live acts. For this, they would have (successfully) dragged me up for a dance. Simon, Australia.

What some call 'sexualized' others just simply call dancing. Being able to move every body part usually doesn't mean anything sexual to the dancers, only to the lookers on that cannot move the same way. Because in the 40s, this kind of dancing came from the same group as the dancers in the vid, and was called 'sexualized' then too.
