I believe so, but remember, music is all about what sounds good, not that the theory says. So the testing should always be the final decision as to what work.

You’re correct. I said Mixo with the b3 but that’s actually the Dorian 😂. In the moment I didn’t even notice. Thanks for pointing that out for others possibly thinking the same thing as you.

@@PianoLessonwithWarren Thanks Warren! I learn so much from you... In all fairness to you, there are times where: feel that your approach is vital. When I leaned Misty (in Eb), I played around with various endings; one of which contains an Edim. I found that the easiest way to approach this was to play the Eb scale adding the non-diatonic notes as they came along. There is a beautiful simplicity to this approach, I think... Blessings!
