Although I'm right on the white/black note situation, the replies I made to people were just jokes. Honestly going to remove this comment just because some people can't handle the joke. At first I thought, no way, but I reduced the speed to 0.25x and you're totally RIGHT! The cat hits the keys with its forearms, not its paws, so you have to ignore where the paws are. The final note is the easiest one to see and it's the same white note in the "correct version." The cat was playing it right all along! Spread the word!

I think it was actually played correctly how ever the piano the cat played must be an electric piano with a Sound Mod as in you can pick what type of sound the keyboard makes like, Sci fi, Violin, etc. The sound of the piano sounded like an old steam piano, and the cat was playing the notes correctly. I know this because back than Electric Pianos with sound Mods were kinda trendy than went back to playing a norm piano/modern version later on. *I'm specifying that it's the old electric pianos and not new ones specificly with the Sound mod*

This is correct. Plus, the old video quality, as per usual, also affects the sound. You can clearly hear it when he does the correct version of how the song is played when the quality is increased. It's a trendy 2000s video I believe.

I'd imagine this was done to compensate for the fact that it seems to be difficult for keyboard cat to hit the white keys, noting that almost all the keys keyboard cat plays are black keys. as was stated, it isn't an animation, and was probably done by physically moving the cat's arms, which would make it incredibly hard to actually play the correct notes.

Well…technically you aren’t wrong but the cat’s keyboard was set to a different sound when I say this I mean for some keyboards you can change how it sounds. For an example on the keyboard I have you can switch the keys to sound like a bongo or make it sound higher. So technically it most likely wasn’t wrong

That’s the first time that a piano wasn’t animated correctly and used Black keys when it didn’t have too.
