@@EPW142 not claiming nor did i claim that hes professional nor am i comparing it to professionals master class. im only saying that hes on youtube trying explain to people how to play classical pieces, though it might not be to your liking of how to play chopin like he did decades ago. i would love you see you teach and actually upload a piano video explaining what scale to use for what pieces and how to play it. not everyone can wake up, study music theory, sit down knowing what finger placement goes where. PianoSecrets did not compare himself to someone studying at a conservatory. i wonder how you found this video. did you search up on youtube how to play clair de lune, or a piano tutorial for it? gtfo.

Sure, you can. Just keep in mind that this is not an easy piece, do not get frustrated if the next parts get too hard, you can always go back a few steps and learn easier pieces, Debussy has some like Reverie or perhaps arabesque no. 1 that are much more beginner friendly. However, if you still want to learn this piece and you think you can do it, go for it :) P.S your comment is a month old, maybe you’ve already learned the piece xD, how’s it going?

This is how i learned you can do it to first i put in sections beginning middle end and tiny little sections in between you can create every time you finish a section review it till it’s perfect then keep moving forward (tip: put it a a lower speed at first) Once you’ve perfected every single section put the speed at normal and play along with it once you have that mastered rise the speed but not to high then practess the rhythm listen to the so g a couple time then play the song again their you go that how you play a song (ignore the spelling errors lol)%

Just subbed this is amazing just stumble on your channel and its really inspired me to have a go at learning been my dream to learn Debussy and to play: ) just looking at my first ever digi piano to hopefully learn to play with this eventually being my goal. Being dyslexic the way you are laying it out and explaining it is really brilliant! Hope you don't mind me asking but what would you recommend pedal setup wise for Debussy do you need the full 3 pedals? Or just the sustain Been looking at the Roland FP10 / FP30 and the Kawai ES110 not sure If I've missed any other good options or what you would lean towards for a beginner aiming for Debussy stuff as the goal. Huge thanks in advance an thanks for putting this content out for all of us.

I learned this piece with the help of one of your earlier tutorials (I left a more detailed comment there) and now this latest version is helping me improve the timing. Just a minor point, but one thing confuses me: At 21:57 where the left hand is playing Bb-Db-Gb, my sheet music has it as Bb-Eb-Gb. Has me wondering if there are different versions out there.
