Oh I have the solution for you. Give it a try and don’t give up on the first attempt, this is gonna be hard. The problem why this is happening to you is because your hand has no control so you have to gain control, a way to do that is to do the exercises in mute , I don’t mean your mute button, but your fingers ability to play silenced. Yes!! It is possible but requires a ton of control and focus even for me 😜😅😅 you just gave me an idea for a video for my students 😁 thanks,

Very good exercise indeed ☺️👏👏 Old Hanon exercises are the best, I use it with all my students but I have to admit I hated them when I was a little girl studying 😂. They work you guys. I promise they work, just make sure you also do it slow ☺️ and gradually gain speed.

@brianfarrell7829 Жыл бұрын
@@julesa1754 An exercise cannot give you less tension or better flow. It's playing the exercise correctly that matters. Any of the Hanon or czerny exercises are better than this one. But again, the exercise itself is not as important as HOW the exercise is executed.

Thanks, I'm a 20 year old (with almost 40 years of experience) and I'm starting to self-taught myself to play the piano. Is it normal that if I perform this exercise with my eyes closed I can do it better than with my eyes open looking at the keyboard? ... anyway thanks for these tips, I saw that your latest book is also available here on Amazon Italy, and I will probably buy it, to integrate it with the method I already use. I read English very well, I just hope that the different notation of the notes (CDEFGAB instead of DoReMiFaSolLaSi) won't be a problem for me. Thank you, and ciao from Italy.

So this is more related to finger independence as opposed to hand independence? Adding the left hand throws hand independence into the mix, but just practicing with one hand alone is practicing finger independence?
@FIREBURNase5 ай бұрын
The annoying thing about finger independence practice, you eventually start to make this practice a pattern, it stops being an independence practice and just muscle memory, so does polyrythem, i cant really do a 3:2, i just know what its supposed to be like 1-223-1, without actually feeling the rythem or anything

if I learned it in 5 minutes for both left and right hand. It's a good sign ? My first steps in life on the android piano application. I decided to see if I was suitable for it. If so, I want to buy my first instrument and it will be a Casio CT-X700 keyboard.
@wiktoriagwozdowska54845 ай бұрын
Will definitely try it ,i have this horrible issue when i need to change the keys and put my fingers on different part of keyboard in resonably short time. I endup pressing 2 keys next to eachother. I think i need to put on some stickers with some uneven texture so my fingers can grip the surface better and not slip so easily. I dont have pianist hand 😂 (thats what people in my country call people with long fingers and pretty small long palm ) instead i have short fingers and wide palm and i can definitely feel it has some impact on how i play.🙂

I am a hardcore gamer who can precisely press any button on the keyboard in a millisecond and I always had an interest in piano... I bought a keyboard yesterday and my fingers refuse to do anything independently... "They dive together or not at all" I thought piano would be comparatively easier or atleast a little bit familiar but he'll no... My brain literally gets fried everytime I sit to play... My left and right hands refuse to sync and my hand placement and sliding is definitely shit...
