Hi Stefan, if you can post a few pieces from your courses that focus each of the areas you are talking about. That will be greatly appreciated

I teach hand independence in an easy way: 5 note finger patterns. No music to learn. Just C D E F G up and down, outline the chord CEGEC and play solid to finish. All 12 keys. First a good legato. Then staccato. Hands playing the same. Then hands playing opposite touches. Then one hand ff while the other “floats” on top. Then gradually we add sound so one hand is ff and other is pp. Meanwhile the chords are being developed with Alberti Bass, broken chords etc. There’s more of course This whole process takes most young beginners a couple of years. But when they’re finished they have many skills as they move towards intermediate repertoire.

Canons are the best exercises for fing independence. If you have anything for the very basic canon exercises then do cover it with videos, coz the Kunz Canons are too difficult. i guess I have to learn it through Czerny and Bartok's mikrokosmos. I am having problem even practicing the basic 1234 555, 5432 111 in canon form.

No you cannot move your hands separately. Scientifically speaking, achieving hand independence is impossible because your brain can only issue one order at a time. It’s impossible for your brain to make two decisions at the same time. To give you an example: Imagine trying to dig two holes at the same time, which is impossible because there’s only one of you. However, if you master digging holes and jumping between the hole and if you do it fast enough, and if you jump between digging the holes fast enough, when someone looks at you from above, they might have an illusion of you digging both holes at the same time. When a pianist plays and it looks like his hands are playing independently, what is actually happening is that he has practiced that piece so many times play his left and right hand consequently and fast enough, that it looks like his hands are independent, but in reality, always one hand plays first and the other comes after.

no you can just think about both your hands performing an action

Scientifically or musically, this makes absolutely no sense, but you're entitled to your opinion. I am quite confident that I can drink coffee with one hand and type a text on my phone with the other haha
